Cherep Alla was born in 1960. PhD in Economics – since 2003. She received the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Finance and Banking in 2004. Doctor of Economics since 2009. Academic title of Professor of the Department of Finance and Credit – since 2010.

In 1986 Cherep Alla graduated from the Zaporozhye Machine-Building Institute. In 1997 he graduated from Zaporizhzhya State Engineering Academy with a degree in Economics of Enterprise, in 2005 he received a master's degree from the University of Humanities "Zaporizhzhya Institute of State and Municipal Administration" with a degree in "Management of Educational Institutions".

In "Zaporozhtransformator" Production Association Cherep Alla worked for more than 23 years (1977-2000) as a technologist, process engineer, planning technician, planning engineer of III, II, I categories, head of the labor and wages bureau, head of the economic analysis bureau.

Since 1997, Cherep Alla began teaching part-time at the Zaporizhzhya Hydropower College, and then since 1998 - at the Zaporizhzhya State Engineering Academy and since 2000 - at the Zaporizhzhya National Technical University, where she worked at the Department of Finance and Credit as a senior lecturer, defended her Ph.D. thesis, and became an associate professor. After defending Ph.D. thesis, she entered doctoral studies at the National University of Food Technologies, defended her doctoral dissertation.

Cherep Alla came to Zaporizhzhya National University in 2005 as a professor at the Department of Management of Organizations and Logistics because she was impressed by the creative, innovative approach of the university administration to the educational process and scientific activities. In 2008, he was offered to head the Department of Finance and Credit at the Faculty of Economics, the staff supported him and elected him to the position of head of the department. Since November 2009, the rector's office has been transferred to the position of Dean of the Faculty of Economics.

• Cherep Alla actively implements progressive and innovative teaching methods, which allows organically combining educational and research work of students, as it increases the interest of the latter in learning. In order to improve the teaching of disciplines, 2 textbooks and 10 manuals with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science were prepared and published.
• Cherep Alla is the head of the scientific school. She heads the specialized academic council for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences in the specialty 08.00.04 "Economics and Management of Enterprises" (by type of economic activity). She has prepared 25 graduate students and five doctoral students who have successfully defended their dissertations and are now working both in higher education and in senior positions at industrial enterprises.
• Cherep Alla  leads the student scientific group "Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Financial Management", the main purpose of which is to create conditions for students' participation in research work, the formation of national self-awareness and an active public position of young people. Cherep A.V. is a regular initiator and organizer of round tables with the participation of representatives of small and medium-sized businesses on topical economic issues.
• For the period from 2008 to the present, round tables have been held with the participation of teachers from various universities of Ukraine, heads of small and medium-sized businesses on the topics "Global economic crisis and its impact on Ukraine", "Efficiency of financial markets", "Crisis management", "Creation and functioning of cluster associations", "Innovation and investment activity of business entities as a factor in stabilizing the economy of the state and regions", "Pricing as the basis of efficiency of functioning enterprises and the factor of improving the welfare of the population", "Inflation as a factor of destabilization of the economy of business entities, regions and the state".
• Cherep Alla is actively engaged in research work with students. Under her leadership, students Samoilenko D., Grigorievich L., Korobov O., Penzeva D., Piun M., Samoilenko D. took 1st and 3rd places at the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers; Pavlo Yeremenko – 2nd place in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in the specialty "Finance".
• With a number of scientific works, Cherep Alla made a significant contribution to the research and development of methodological approaches to the formation of costs of business entities. The results of scientific research are used in the practical activities of industrial enterprises. Theoretical developments are used in the educational process of Zaporizhzhya National Technical University, Zaporizhzhya National University, National University of Food Technologies in teaching such disciplines as enterprise economics, economic analysis, enterprise finance, financial management, cost management. The results of scientific research were also used in the development of the Program for Stabilization and Development of Industry of Ukraine, in the preparation of the Program for Stabilization and Development of Industry of Zaporizhzhya region for the period up to 2020.
• As a member of the Regional Coordination Council for Entrepreneurship Development at the Zaporizhzhya Regional Administration, he participates in the examination of projects on the development of the food industry in the Zaporizhzhya region, puts forward proposals for improving the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
• Cherep Alla works in the Committee of Economic Reforms in the Zaporizhzhya region on proposals for bills to determine the directions, priorities, mechanisms for the implementation of economic reforms, which are aimed at ensuring the economic security of business entities, the state and regions. Editor-in-chief of the scientific publication "Bulletin of ZNU. Series: Economic Sciences".
• Cherep Alla was repeatedly awarded with Certificates of Honor of the Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. He has state awards: the medal "For the development of the Zaporizhzhya region", the medal "For significant contribution to the development of education and science", the medal of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine "For outstanding scientific achievements", award "Yaroslav Mydriy" (Academy of Sciences of Higher Education), "Flagship of Education and Science of Ukraine" (2013, 2014, 2015).
