Received Specialist degree in Ukrainian Language and Literature (2000), additional degree certificates in Journalism (1999) and in English Translation (1999).
From 2007 to 2009, studied at the International Institute of Business (Kyiv).
In 2014, she defended a dissertation "Multimedia and Convergence as the Factors of the Regional Media Transformation".
In 2012 she graduated from the program "Improving the Quality of Professional Education of New Media and Communication Technologies in Regional Schools" (Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the International Fund «Renaissance"). In 2013 received training in the program "Management of Convergent Newsroom and New Technologies for New (Convergent) Media" (U-Media, Internews Network, RPDI), she completed the study in the program "Anti-corruption investigative journalism in South Ukraine. The experience of Poland and Ukraine" (RPDI). In 2014, completed the 5-week distance course "Data Driven Journalism MOOC: Doing Journalism with Data".
She worked in the newspapers "Industrialnoye Zaporozhye" (correspondent, 2000-2002) "MIG" (correspondent, 2002-2005), "Ostrov Svobody" (CEO, Chief-in-Editor, 2005-2010). Natalia Vygovska is an author and head of the local projects "School of Investigative Journalism", "Multimedia Laboratory for Multimedia Skills of Journalists-beginners", "Stop Manipulation!». She is a head of NGO "Union of Young Independent Journalists".
Natalia Vygovska is a participant of several internships: Poland (2000, 2004), Belgium (2005), Germany (2009), Italy (2014).
She is an author of more than 10 scientific articles. Research interests: regional media, the investigative journalism, convergence in journalism.
