In 1999, he received a certificate of completion of a 3-year Gestalt therapy course at the St. Petersburg Gestalt Institute. In 2000 he graduated from the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of Zaporizhzhya State University and received a Master's Degree in Psychology with honors.
In 2004 he defended his dissertation, specialty 19.00.01 "General Psychology, History of Psychology" at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. In 2008 he became the Assistant Professor. In 2015 he defended his doctoral dissertation, specialty 19.00.08 "Special psychology". In 2018 he received the title of professor.
Practical and public activity: he developed, maintained and administered the following programs: "Social and psychological rehabilitation of youth with special needs", 2001-2002; "Psychological and social adaptation of totally blind and visually impaired adolescents and students in the process of professional formation and integration in society", 2003; "Integration of young people with disabilities into society: social-legal, sociopsychological and information-technological aspects", 2008-2010.
Now he is the Сhairman of the Zaporizhzhia regional organization of All-Ukrainian Parliament of disabled people who are capable to work, represents it on the committee "Accessibility of Persons with Disabilities and Other Low-Mobility Groups to Social and Engineering Transport Infrastructure Facilities" at the Zaporizhzhia regional state administration, where he actively defends the rights and the interests of people with disabilities, contributes to the implementation of modern European standards for the organization of a barrier-free environment.
For his work and active public position he has been honored with the various awards.
Klopota Eugene is the author of more than 70 scientific publications.
Since 2014 he has been the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal "Current issues of pedagogy, psychology and vocational education" Index Copernicus.
Since 2018, a member of the editorial board of the Bulletin of GS Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University "Psychology".
He supervises the scientific work of masters and graduate students. He has developed more than 20 disciplines. Head of the program of advanced training courses for teachers: "Psychological and pedagogical support of children and youth with special needs in an inclusive educational environment".
Participant of international programs and projects (Erasmus + and others).
Research interests: personal self-awareness, processes of communication and interpersonal interaction in crisis situations, integration and adaptation into society of people with special needs, innovative technologies in special and inclusive education.
