Graduated from the Faculty of Philology, Zaporizhzhia State Pedagogical Institute (1980).
Since 1980 Zaveryko Nataliia has worked as the Deputy Director of the Skelkiv School of Vasylivska District of Zaporizhzhia Region.
Since 1983 she has been a lecturer of the Department of Russian Language of the Zaporizhzhia State Pedagogical Institute. 1992 - Ph.D. thesis defence
Since 1994 – Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Social Pedagogy.
1999-2003 – Director of the Zaporizhzhia Resource Center established by the “Child Well-being Fund Ukraine” under the patronage of the Swiss Government in ZNU within the framework of the projects “Social Education in Ukraine”.
2004 – was conferred the academic title of professor.
Since 2005 Head of the Department of Social Pedagogy.
Dissertation topic: “Socialization of high school students in amateur associations”.
Under scientific supervision 6 candidate dissertations were defended.
Leading specialist in socialization of personality, socio-pedagogical technologies of work with adolescents.
Author of more than 150 scientific and educational works.
Research interests: socialization of the individual, socio-pedagogical technologies of working with adolescents
