October 10, at the Faculty of History began lectures of the American Professor Jimmy Hill (Mahtomedi, Minnesota, USA).
Students and masters of the Department of World History and International Relations in the framework of the courses «Country studies», «History of international relations and diplomacy», «Conflictology», «Introduction to specialty» discussed the issues of the government of the United States of America, current problems of social and economic development, the major vectors of the foreign policy of the United States.
Moreover, the lecturer drew special attention to the analysis of the US presidential election 2016, election programs of candidates, the prospects for the development of this country and the world after the end of the election campaign.
It should be noted that the coordinator of these meetings was the Associate Professor of the Department of World History and International Relations, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, Lesya Kovalenko.
Within two weeks of Professor Jimmy Hill’s staying in ZNU it is planned the series of language trainings and speaking clubs for students and teachers of ZNU.
