In the framework of the Student Spartakiad of ZNU the draughts competitions among young men were completed. The representatives of 12 faculties of the University took part in the team contests (3 regular and 2 reserve players).
The main judge of these games is the head of the sports class of the Department of Physical Education Halyna Yesionova. Competition is always held with the support of the organizers, representatives of Sports and Recreation Complex of ZNU, in particular, its Deputy Director Oleksandr Petrenko.
According to the results of the draughts competitions among men, the team of the Faculty of Biology took the first place (24 points), the second place – Faculty of Physics (19.5 points) and the third place – the team of the History Faculty (18.5 points). The winning teams were awarded the certificates of merit, and their participants received medals. In addition, the best players were determined: Mykhaylo Skirko (Faculty of Biology), Yevhen Yepishkin (Faculty of History) та Yuriy Radyev (Faculty of Physics).
