A student of Economics and Law College of Zaporizhzhya National University (educational program "Publishing and editing") Olha Mishevska has recently returned from Lithuania. Within ten days, she participated in the project "Erasmus+". It was organized by the non-governmental organization "Innived Lietuva" (Lithuania) in cooperation with the Ukrainian NGO "Development and initiative".
The project "Open Minds for Brighter Future" was brought to life in Lithuania, near Trakai. Generally, 30 representatives from 6 countries (Ukraine, Lithuania, Slovakia, Turkey, Austria) took part in it. The age of participants ranged between 17-30 years.
ЗAccording to Olha, Ukrainian leadership group included three girls and one guy, geographically they represented Kyiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhya. It was a team that consisted of Ph.D. in Economics, lecturer of the Dnepropetrovsk Mining University, students, masters and post-graduate students of Lviv and Kyiv universities.
The program included acquaintance with the cultures of the participants, exchange of experience, discussion of problems of refugees and the ways to counter the propaganda. The project participants visited a local school "Vievio gimnazija", where they told students about the student mobility program "Erasmus+". Besides, the project participants together with pupils filmed a video in the manner of famous Internet flashmob, whose members are in unexpected places, and suddenly they freeze in different poses. Then the video is posted under the hashtag #ManneqiinChallenge on a variety of Internet resources.
