
February 1 starts the acceptance of works for the contest of youth projects "Zaporizhzhya Vector of Student Initiatives". Its goal is the preservation and development of intellectual potential of the region and its focus on the socio-economic development of Zaporizhzhya. The competition is organized by Zaporizhzhya National University, the non-governmental organization "Zaporizhzhya Vector" and the charity fund "Fund of Good Deeds".
The contest will run from February 1 to April 7, 2017.
The winners will get the certificates and money rewards:
- 1st place – 10 thousand UAH;
- 2nd place – 7 thousand UAH;
- 3rd place – 5 thousand UAH.
The students and postgraduates of Zaporizhzhya National University can take part both individually and in teams. To participate in the competition the projects should be aimed at sustainable development of the city and region in the following areas:
- tourist attractiveness of Zaporizhzhya and Zaporizhzhya region (to propose new ideas and projects and mechanisms for their practical implementation);
- cultural and entertainment infrastructure of Zaporizhzhya and Zaporizhzhya region (to diversify and to introduce the best know-how);
- environmental improvement and rise of the life quality standards of the Zaporizhzhya residents (to propose mechanisms to resolve specific environmental problems and long-term social programs);
- socialization of disabled adults and children (to offer social programs for their adaptation in society);
- proposals (projects, ideas) for the monument installations in Zaporizhzhya;
- development of idea and sample (draft, 3D model, mini-copies) of the monument (of the sculpture) for the volunteers
The projects must be submitted up to March 31, 2017 to the Department of Project Activities in paper and in electronic form together with the presentation (educational building № 4, classroom 322; e-mail: vpd@znu.edu.ua).
