This week the 4th year students of the Faculty of Law of ZNU Vladyslav Bandrovskyy and Anton Barlit have returned from Poland. There they studied at the University of Wroclaw at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics during a semester – from September to the end of February. They were offered this educational program in the International Office of ZNU. These students successfully passed all the final exams, and they consider that their internship is very useful for the further education and career building. In order to get the vacant positions of the international academic project, it was necessary to have a high GPA, level of English confirmed by an international certificate, and to win a competition among students of ZNU.
According to Vladyslav and Anton, in Poland during the first weeks of study it was necessary to choose subjects which are taught at all faculties, earning a minimum of 30 credits. Our students focused on the subjects of the legal sphere, such as "public international law", "intellectual property rights", "rights of man and of the citizen", "international organizations", "civil law", etc, as well as those that were related to the English and Polish languages and Polish culture.
Unfortunately, the educational program didn’t provide a scholarship support, however, the Polish side offered the payment of residence hall, which undoubtedly helped the students. By the way, a multinational Kredka residence was quite comfortable: the room was designed for two people, kitchen for four, and there were also a study space and a sports hall.
The coursemates and teachers of the ZNU Faculty of Law are excited to see the guys in class. In the near future it is planned that Vladyslav and Anton will share their experience of the international studies with other students. Also the staff of the faculty sincerely wishes them successful examination.
