On February 11 at the faculty of sociology an informal meeting with school graduates was held, which opened a week of the faculty.
The dean of the faculty of sociology and management Maxim Lepsky greeted all guests and told a short history of the faculty: as a specialty it exists 12 years already, and as a faculty – 6 years. The dean also enumerated mean achievements of the faculty for that period and then represented its teaching staff to future students, told about main directions of study and about functions of the faculty in general. Graduates of schools were also invited to visit open classes during all the week. The meeting ended with mini-excursion throughout chairs of faculty and informal communication with lecturers.
