Every year in Zaporizhzhya national university the spring begins with the contest of beauty, talent and charm «Miss Spring of ZNU-2008». This time on March 11 the hall of the Students’ palace of culture was full off those who were eager to watch that admirable show.
The contest «Miss Spring of ZNU» has already become a good tradition in our university. This year fourteen beautiful students participated in it. They were representatives of almost all faculties, some faculties were especially active (mathematical and law faculties), which delegated two and three girls.
Spectators were pleasantly surprised not only by beauty and talents of beautiful girls, but also by new contests – the general dance, the contest of photos (every girl had to prepare portfolio), the contest of dresses from unusual materials.
In the evening the jury announced the winners: «Miss Spring of ZNU-2008» became Valentina Taranenko – the student of the law faculty, the 1-st vice miss is Viktoriya Gerasimiuk (the faculty of physical upbringing) and the 2-nd vice-miss is the representative of the faculty of journalism Oxana Grivtsova.
