According to the decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Iushchenko «About Students’ social activity in spring, 2008» from March 11 to April 20 the administration of the National park «Khortitsya» together with local authorities, social organisations and youth plan to conduct “subotnics” to better environment on the isle.
On previous week-end ZNU opened the action and the most active students conducted “subotnic” on the isle Khortitsya – cleaned the territory, planted trees, cut bushes in the gardens to the name of Shevchenko. The work of students of the economic faculty, the faculty of journalism and foreign philology of ZNU out of doors began with a little improvised concert and ended with a breathtaking excursion to the museum «Zaporoz’ka Sich».
