Jury Zatsny – a scientist-philologist with the world-known name, the professor and the head of the chair of theory and practice of translation of Zaporizhzhya national university – celebrates his 65-th jubilee today. Lecturers, co-workers, post graduates and students of the faculty organized a real holiday for their dear teacher.
First the rector of ZNU, Professor Sergij Timchenko congratulated the professor on his birthday. Then the dean of the faculty of foreign philology Galina Moroshkina told about achievements of the jubilar - creation of his own scientific school of neology, numerous scientific and methodical editions, preparation of almost two dozens of candidates of sciences, his daily inspired educational work. Jury Zatsny was also congratulated by all heads of chairs and several lecturers of the foreign faculty, and also representatives of the faculty of journalism - Vitaly Shevchenko and Jury Botner.
Post graduates of the faculty presented a humorous greeting and demonstrated «Bible of Aspirant» - methodological work by the professor. The greeting faculty newspaper became one more surprise for him that was full of merry and candid greetings from all chairs, direction of FIF and university.
