On May 14, 2018, the registration of those entrants who will join this year's Master’s Degree on IEE-technology will begin. This applies to admissions in the specialty of the branches of knowledge "The humanities" (except for the specialty "Philology"), "Social and behavioral sciences", "Journalism", "Law", "Sphere of service" and "International relations". In particular, the entrants to the master's degree in the specialties "Law" and "International Law" will comprise:
* Single entrance exam (SEE) in a foreign language - English or German, or French, or Spanish;
* Single Professional Entrance Test (SPET) on Law and General Educational Legal Competences.
Entrants to the master's degree in the specialties of the branches of knowledge "Humanities" (except for the specialty "Philology"), "Social and behavioral sciences", "Journalism", "Sphere of service" and "International relations" (except "International law") will be only SEE in a foreign language.
The Single entrance exam in a foreign language will have 2 components – "Reading" and "Using the language." At the same time, such components as "Writing Speech" and "Understanding the Speech by Hearing" will not apply to the Master's thesis. SPET involves performing examination work, which contains two blocks:
* Test of General Educational Legal Competences (TGELC). It includes the testing of such competencies: analytical thinking, critical thinking, and logical thinking;
* Test on the Law. It includes testing of 8 basic legal disciplines: constitutional, administrative, civil, civil procedural, criminal, criminal procedural law of Ukraine, international public law and international protection of human rights. The last two disciplines were included in the test program this year for the first time. Please note that all the programs on which the tests of all three blocks are made – are posted on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Entrants’ registration for the SEE and SPET will be continued until 18:00 on June 5. To register, you must apply to the admissions committee of one of the institutions of higher education in which the entrant intends to take part in the competitive selection. The result of the registration is the receipt of the examination sheet.
Those who want to take part in the selection of studies in the specialty "Law" and / or "International Law" and simultaneously in the specialties of the branches of knowledge "Humanities" (except for the specialty "Philology"), "Social and behavioral sciences", "Journalism", "Sphere service "," International relations" should submit documents to the admissions committee of one of the universities, which in 2018, enrolls in the specialties "Law" or "International Law".
There are also certain peculiarities for those entrants who will join the cross-entry – who will change the specialty when they go to the master's degree. Such entrants in order to be admitted to the SEE or SPET must pass an additional professional test, which university conducts. It will take place between May 14th and 31st.
On the УЦОЯО site all the registered participants will be created the information pages of the "Cabinet of the participant of the SEE/SPET". In particular, the information about the test point, where the participant will pass his tests, will be posted 3 weeks before the test begins. There, you can also create and print an invitation-pass to the test point. The results of the exams will be published on these pages.
The work of the testing points will not be different from the work of such items during the main IEE. The points will be created in regional centers (except for Donetsk and Lugansk cities), Kiev, Slavyansk and Mariupol, Severodonetsk. Each participant can freely choose a city in which they want to make a test during registration. The main session of the SEE will be held on July 11, SPET will be held on July 13. The procedure starts at 10:00 am. The admission of participants to the testing point will last from 09:15 a.m. to 09:50 a.m.
To enter the testing point, the participant has to present: an examination sheet; identity document (serial number (if any exist) and the number of which is indicated in the exam sheet); invitation-pass. It is forbidden to use any gadgets, reading, processing, storing and / or reproducing information, as well as individual elements that may be part of the relevant hardware or devices, printed or handwritten materials, other devices (other than authorized articles of medical purpose, the presence of which the entrant must notify before the start of the test).
The results of the main session of the SEE and the SPET will be placed on the information pages no later than 14 calendar days from the date of their conduction.
In case of doubt as to the correctness of establishing the results, the entrant has the right within 3 calendar days from the day of the official announcement of the results (including the announcement day) to submit an appeal to the УЦОЯО. Their consideration is carried out by the appellate commission within 3 business days from the moment of receipt.
Based on the results of consideration of the application, the commission may take one of the following decisions:
-refuse to satisfy the appeal statement (the result, ascertained earlier, is confirmed);
- to satisfy the appeal statement (the preset result will be changed).
In the case of satisfaction of the statement of results, one of the following decisions may be adopted:
- on the restoration of the result of the external evaluation (in the case if the preliminary result was canceled);
- to increase or decrease the number of points received by the participant in the entrance test.
Admission of applications and documents to universities for those who will be tested on the technology of IEE testing, will run from July 2 to July 26. Recommendations for enrollment on the budget form of training will be held until August 13, namely enrollment – until August 20 (12:00).
In the Magistracy "Law" and "International Law", the distribution of budget places will take place in a competition – the place will go for the entrant with the best points in his chosen higher education institution.
Admission to the magistracy of other specialties will be carried out according to a traditional competition with a fixed number of seats.
