From May, 25 to May, 27 in the "School of Tolerance" initiated by the Zaporizhzhia Regional Charitable Foundation "Gender Z", a training session for journalists was held. The focus of its participants was on tolerance and gender equality.
Among the participants of the training were three students of the 1-2 courses of the faculty of journalism. It is worth noting that magistrate from ZNU Kristina Sobko works as a volunteer in that organization.
The event organizers invited participants to discuss a number of important topics during the event. In particular, it was about the importance of using gender sensitive language in journalist’s materials, rules for writing materials devoted to members of the LGBT community, and others like that.
Participants of the training from our university assessed their participation in the event as interesting and useful.
