Postgraduate student of Zaporizhzhia national university, Olexandr Nadtoka took the 4th place in the European Rowing Championships which was held in the city of Glasgow. Recently, our athlete has struggled within Quadruple Sculls in the final of the championship.
As a result, our team which was consisted of Olexandr Nadtoka, Sergii Gryn, Dmytro Mikhay, Olexandr and Ivan Dovgodko has confidently started, thanks to what immediately went into the lead. The position of the leader was held by our athletes during the first 500 meters. Further struggle for leadership was developed among Italian, Poland, Lithuanian, and Ukrainian sportsmen. Polish and our athletes have finished almost synchronously. And only the photo finish showed that the Poland’s athletes were a few hundredths ahead. Therefore, the bronze went to the national team of Poland. Our guys took the fourth place.
