The activities of the Scientific Society of students, graduate students, doctoral students and young scientists were presented for the first-year students of ZNU
The chairmen of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Candidates and Young Scientists at the faculties held meetings with freshmen during September-October. Within these meetings, participants learned about the main areas of work of the Scientific Society.
The chairmen of the scientific societies of the faculties highlighted the plans of scientific events for the current academic year, where different events are presented such as conferences, round table discussions, debates, quests, intellectual games, competitions, grants, projects of regional and All-Ukrainian levels.
Activist and scholars encouraged young people to take part in research activities. In their opinion, participation in such events provides an opportunity for self-improvement, deepening their knowledge, increasing experience and helping to determine their own scientific interests in the future.
During the meetings, they focused on the openness of the structure, the readiness of its members to help newcomers in matters related to scientific activities, as well as the possibility to further link their lives with science in Zaporizhzhia national university.
In turn, the students asked a lot of questions to the speakers and vividly discussed various aspects of student research. At the end of the events, the heads of faculty scientific societies provided coordinates, in particular, the website of scientific society of students, postgraduates, doctoral students and young scientists, groups on the social network, where everyone will be able to follow the announcements of events that occur in the scientific space of Zaporizhzhia national university.
