Project Coordinator of Erasmus + “European Values in Literary Arts”, associate professor Stanislav Cherkasov took part in an international conference in Brussels
Coordinator of the European Program Erasmus + in the direction of Jean Monet "European Values in Literary Arts", deputy dean of the Faculty of History for International Affairs, associate professor of the Department of World History and International Relations Stanislav Cherkasov took part in the International Conference of Project Coordinators Erasmus+ held on November 28-29 in the city of Brussels. The event was organized by the European Commission together with the Executive Agency for Education of the European Union.
During the conference, issues related to the implementation of the project and its management were discussed. There were reviewed examples of the best projects of Jean Monnet in previous years and discussed ideas for the future of the program. Special attention at the event was paid to discussing the future of European integration, including the challenges to which the European community should respond: “Brexit”, security policy, crisis, economic, environmental problems. The involvement of representatives from academia from different countries in the discussion contributed to a productive discussion on the future development of the EU.
The format of the event included the presentation of the ZNU Erasmus+ project in the direction of Jean Monet “European Values in Literary Arts”, its discussion in an expert environment. The conference provided an opportunity to reach a number of important agreements on international cooperation of ZNU and the exchange of academic experience in the framework of the project.
