On October, 31 in the framework of celebration of the Day of Ukrainian literacy and language and the Week of the Ukrainian language began. This traditional for our university action is organized by lecturers and the students of the philological faculty.
The dean of the faculty Tamara Khom’yak told, that the main feature of the Week of the Ukrainian language this year is its scientific character. For example, instead of creative parties and performances a number of scientific-popular actions will be held: quizes, olympiads, contests of experts in Ukrainian language, and also the contest of the best work about language, interpretations of poetry and many others. Besides, presentations of a new book of well-known Zaporizhzhya scientist V.Suprunenko and the band of publicistic works of the doctor of philological sciences, professor Viktor Chabanenko are planned.
