The Polish holiday "Tłusty czwartek" was held in Zaporizhzhia Military Hospital with the support of Polish Culture Center

Zaporizhzhia Military Hospital was visited by representatives of St. John Paul II Zaporizhzhia Society of Polish Culture, John III Sobieski Polish Culture Center of the Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University and the parish of God Father Merciful of Church of Rome.

In honor of the Polish holiday “Tłusty czwartek”, the hospital visitors prepared and presented an interesting program about Polish traditions for the patients. The audience really liked the concert of the young bandura players of the Children Music school №3 and program of the pupils of the Zaporizhzhia boarding school “Svitanok”.  Traditionally, people bake donuts during “Tłusty czwartek” holiday, and the guests also prepare tasty treats for the military.

During the meeting, the guests presented a fridge for storing medications for the military hospital. Polish people who live in Zaporizhzhia, parishioners and just common people from Zaporizhzhia raised funds for the gift.
