Festival of pedagogical ideas for educational therapists was held on the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology
Festival of pedagogical ideas for educational therapists is a significant event that took place on the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of ZNU at the end of last week. The festival organizers are “Academy of talented leaders” and the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology. They invited about 270 guests; almost all of them were educators. The participants were representatives of different professions such as teachers, educators, psychologists, social teachers, educational therapists, speech therapists, etc.
At the beginning of the event, Olha Ponomarenko, the dean of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and P
sychology congratulated the audience. She mentioned that the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology opens new specialty “Special education”. Moreover, Olha Viktorivna also said that the faculty is an active participant in the training of educational therapists, speech therapists, and speech pathologist.
During the Festival, various performances and workshops were held. Speakers talked about innovations in the field of inclusive, remedial education; they presented their own original and effective developments for the correction of child development. Professors of the Department of Social Pedagogy became active participants of the festival.
Representatives of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology were especially pleased to meet the graduates of the faculty who are now the social teachers and psychologists who work with children with developmental disorders.
Positive professional atmosphere promoted the exchange of experience, networking and the birth of new innovative ideas on training and education of the younger generation.
