During this week matches in mini football for “The Rector’s cup” are going in ZNU sports centre. 12 teams of different departments (two of them are the teams of the Physical training Department) take part in the contest. The Economic, Philological Departments and the Social Pedagogics and Psychology Department don’t compete this year.
Ceremonial opening was December, 4. The head of the university Sergij Timchenko, the assistant of the head Natalija Volkova, the head of the Students’ Council Inna Derevynsjka and the director of ZNU sports centre Valerij Baranov took part in it.
That day the members of aikido, karate and fencing clubs showed their skills. Ceremonial opening was finished by the demonstrative show of sports and ball dancing.
