Student of the Faculty of Building and Civil Engineering of Engineering Institute took the 1st place in the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works
Recently, the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works on natural, technical and humanitarian sciences in the field of knowledge "Ecology", which was attended by over 120 participants from 65 universities in Ukraine, including Zaporizhzhia National University has been held on the basis of Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University.
Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University has a powerful environmental science school, so for the fifth year the university has been the base for the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the field of ecology.
86 scientific works were allowed to participate in the second round by the decision of competition commission, 63 ones were heard, of which 1 was checked online using Skype.
The Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University was represented by a 4th year student of the Department of Applied Ecology and Labor Protection of the Faculty of Building and Civil Engineering Yevheniia Taraban with the work “Study of atmospheric air pollution in an industrial city as a risk factor for the health of its inhabitants”. Her supervisor was the Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Ecology and Labor Protection Karina Bielokon.
According to the results of the second round, the competition commission awarded Yevheniia Taraban with the Diploma of the I Degree Organizing Committee for the high scientific level of training.
The faculty team congratulates Yevheniia and her supervisor Karina Bielokon on the victory and wishes them further success in research activities, the realization of all plans, as well as get pleasure from scientific work!
