During the European championship in weightlifting, ZNU students represented Zaporizhzhia region.
Student Kostiantyn Reva received a bronze award in the clean and jerk with a score of 207 kg (jerk 161 kg, double-event total of 368 kg).
It should be mentioned that earlier in the same championship ZNU student Kyrylo Pyrohov won the “small bronze” in the snatch in a group of up to 96 kg.
As a result, the team of Zaporizhzhia heavyweights performed at the European Championship quite successful. After all, another athlete of our city, Dmytro Chumak, brought Ukraine three gold awards at once in the weight category up to 102 kg.
