«Patriotism in high school» was the theme of the round table discussion. It gathered not only teachers and students of Zaporizhzhya National University, but also representatives of town public organizations and funds. As initiators of carrying out of this action were the Faculty of Law of ZNU, Association of the government of Ukraine and the League of students of Ukrainian Association of Lawyers.
Representatives of the famous public organizations of our town wanted to take part in the discussion. It testifies the topicality of the theme offered by organizers. Public organizations and their famous leaders, who took part in this action were: Tamara Ogorodova, the executive director of welfare fund «Patriot of Zaporizhzhya», Vasyl Sljota, the head of «Committee on protection of the world», Juliya Yarmarkyna, the representative of Youth public organization "Support" and Oleg Filatov, the representative of welfare fund "Santys".
Victor Sabadash, the assistant to the dean of the Faculty of Law and Igor Zubko, the senior teacher of the department of the Theory of state and right, shared their thoughts with present as for problems of patriotic education of youth in high educational institutions. Master Tsogik Mazmanyan and second-year student Sergey Burma, the member of the youth organization “Perspectyva” presented the students of the Faculty of Law.
During the round table discussion they talked about patriotism in general, about ways of development and activization of patriotic education of youth and the role of high schools, public organizations and funds in this process.
