Representatives of the Zaporizhzhia National University took part in a cluster event on the modernization of educational programs, organized by the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine, entitled "Ensuring the quality of educational programs in the context of European integration: environmentalization, recognition, digitalization, inclusion."

Participants of the EU Erasmus+ Program CBHE projects (KA 2 – Capacity building in higher education"), representatives of higher education institutions and scientific institutions attended the webinar. The purpose of the event was to share experience in the implementation of projects, knowledge about the impact of Erasmus+ on ensuring the quality of higher education in the context of European integration and ensuring synergy between Erasmus+ projects in the cluster of modernization of educational programs.

At the webinar, the DESTIN project was presented by Katerina Sirinyok-Dolgaryova and Yulia Liubchenko, associate professors of the Department of Journalism. Head of the Department of Theory and Practice of English Translation Svitlana Zapolskykh and Associate Professor of the Department of English Philology and Linguodidactics Maryna Zaluzhna represented ZNU as the national coordinator of the MultiEd project.

In the report on the results of the DESTIN project, in which ZNU actively participated for four years - from 2018 to 2022, the representative of the national coordinator in Ukraine, associate professor of the Taras Shevchenko KNU Bohdana Nosova told about the update of the bachelor's and master's educational programs in the specialty 061 "Journalism". She described the cooperation with representatives of workers within the project (local media, Public Radio) and students (Ukrainian Students' Association), as well as told the launch of mass electronic courses on media literacy, aimed at improving media competences in Ukrainian society.

As the national coordinator of the MultiEd project, associate professor Svitlana Zapolskykh reported on the team's achievements. The focus of her report was on the process and features of updating bachelor's and master's programs of specialties 035 "Philology" and 014 "Secondary education". During four years (the project started in 2019 and ends in November 2023), eight Ukrainian partners developed nine new educational courses, updated 14. Additional results of the project were the development of one new course, updating of three more courses by partners using the CLIL method (content and language integrated learning).

As an additional result of the MultiEd project, there were recommendations for the development of educational programs in foreign languages, the manuals "Information literacy and critical thinking" and "Language, culture, society". The next step will be the implementation of the developed "Strategies of Multilingual Education" in partner HEIs and the submission of national recommendations on multilingual higher education, which were taken into consideration by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in planning its policy. An important result of the project's activities was also the electronic course "CLIL Methodology", which received favourable reviews from the participants. More than 1,500 people participated in advanced training seminars for secondary school and HEIs teachers. The project is currently being completed, but the activities continue. The consortium plans to hold training seminars for secondary school teachers and scientific and pedagogical workers, the CLIL Methodology e-course also continues to function.

We would like to remind that Zaporizhzhia National University already has considerable experience in the implementation of projects under the Erasmus+ Program. CBHE (KA 2) projects DESTIN and Multied became among the first ones.
