Alexander Olenev, the pupil of the 11thform of Zaporizhzhya lyceum № 99 and the pupil inventor hobby group "Grani" which works in ZNU, will represent Ukraine at the International competition of scientific and technical creativity of schoolboys in Nevada (USA).
Being engaged in inventor hobby group, Alexander investigated a theme of alternative energy sources and has designed model of the device for measurement of speed and a direction of wind. The project has brought to him the victory on the national stage of the International competition of scientific and technical creativity of schoolboys Intel USEF 2009. Now Zaporizhzhya schoolboy will represent Ukraine in the ending of competition which takes place in May in Nevada state (USA).
According to his supervisor of studies Andriy Andreev, the head of a circle, the candidate of pedagogical sciences, the senior teacher of the Faculty of Physics and technique of its teaching of ZNU, Sasha has already made an application to get the patent for the invention. The device which was designed by Zaporizhzhya schoolboy, can be applied both in work of meteorological service, and for measurement of speed of water streams.
