Today from ZNU sports building sports cycle expedition has started «Zaporizhzhya round-the-world». The leader of this action is Volodymyr Suprunenko. The traveler was seen off in a long journey with songs and celebrations.
This year with Volodymyr goes with his daughter, the student of ZNU Kateryna Suprunenko and Zaporizhzhya artist, the author of Zaporizhzhya region emblem and flag, Vitaly Pylypenko. The purpose of the expedition is to pass on a bicycle on perimeter of Zaporizhzhya region to survey the most sign places of the region, natural and cultural-historical sights, to plan tourist routes. For three weeks travelers plan to overcome almost one thousand kilometers behind on route Zaporizhzhya - Vasylivka – Velyka Znamenka - vesele – Akymivka - Kyrylivka - Prymorsk - Berdyansk - Rozivka - Gulyajpole - Novomykolaivka - Vilnyansk - Zaporizhzhya.
Rector of ZNU professor Sergiy Tymchenko wished success to participants of the expedition and received from them a T-short in a gift.
