On November 10th the Rector of Tyumen State University (Russian Federation) Gennadiy Chobotaryov visited ZNU.
In the result of Dr. Chobotaryov meeting with ZNU Rector Sergiy Tymchenko, the vise-rectors and the departments' deans there was signed the agreement of cooperation, which will allow providing the joined researches, organizing the conferences, the academic exchanges, summer schools, on-line consultations and professional probations.
Tyumen State University has very similar history as ZNU: it's 80 years since its foundation this year too. The departments and specialties at the universities are also very similar. The cooperation will take place 
in such spheres as physics (nanotechnologies), journalism, biology, chemistry, mathematics, ecology, sociology, and administration.
